Sharon to head AIDS gala fundraiser in Italy - Aug 30, 2007
Sharon Stone wiil host an AIDS gala fundraiser in Rome on October 26. This will be the first to take place during the Rome film festival , the amfAR foundation said Friday. According to reports, Stone marked a record $ 7million dollars for AIDS research at this year’s stardom party, organised by amfAR at the Cannes film festival on May. She began an auction at the gala by taking bids vanity case she created for a major luxury brandl for $ 95,000 dollars while George Clooney sold off a one-week cruise on a yacht, and a kiss from the actor, for 375,000 dollars. The festival runs from October 18 to 27.
